AKSU PAYMENT OF ACCEPTANCE FEE AND SCHOOL. FEES/ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR NEWLY ADMITTED UTME AND DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES

(a.) ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT:
Instructions to candidates offered provisional admission: UTME and DE candidates offered provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to indicate their acceptance of the offer.

Locate any internet access point (e.g. Cybercafe) across the country and proceed thus:

• Visit www.aksu.edu.ng and click on the ADMISSION menu. From the pull-down menu, select CHECK ADMISSION STATUS
• Carefully supply your UTME or DE registration number and click on
the button GET ADMISSION STATUS. You may wish to print the
admission offer page for your record purpose.
• Visit http://aksu.edu.ng/portal to generate the Acceptance Fee Pre-
Payment Analysis Slip for Twenty thousand five hundred naira
(N20,500) only, by carefully following the steps below:
o Click the REGISTER NOW link.

On the Registration type panel, select 'ADMISSION'.

On the left menu panel of the student registration page, click 'REGISTER NOW'.

Ensure you correctly enter UTME registration number and click the 'VERIFY' button.

Click on MAKE PAYMENT in the Payment Status row.

Select BANK OPTION to print the payment analysis slip, for bank
payment.

Take the slip generated in above to any of the commercials banks listed on the payment slip and request from the bank teller to make cash payment to Akwa Ibom State Univesity using e-Transact platform.
• After payment in bank, return to the university portal to verify your payment status, print the payment receipt and complete your bio-data registration. This is done by clicking on right arrow icon (>) located in front of the PAID button. You will need to also upload your passport photograph, WAEC/NECO/NABTEB result(s).

Note:- Payment of Acceptance fee must be completed within three (3) weeks, from the date of this notice.

• Other candidates who equally applied for admission into the University are advised to exercise patience, as the list above is not the
last.
• Candidates who has completed the payment of Acceptance fee are advised to get back to the University portal and process their school fees payment immediately.

(b.) SCHOOL FEES/ ONLINE REGISTRATION :
The Management of Akwa Ibom State University hereby announces the commencement of registration formalities for newly admitted UTME students of the University. Consequently, all 2016 newly admitted students are advised to start the process of School fees payment using the process outlined below:

From any internet access point (e.g. Cybercafe), follow the instructions below carefully:

• Visit www.aksu.edu.ng/acc
• Submit your UTME registration numbers and click on the GET LOGIN DETAILS button (carefully note of the accesscode that has been assigned to you. You will need it throughout your period of study in Akwa Ibom State University)
• Log on to the address: www.aksu.edu.ng and click on the STUDENT menu. The website will redirect you to www.aksu.edu.ng/portal .
• Submit your UTME registration nos as well as your accesscode and thereafter click the LOGON button
• Click on the PAYMENT menu and select the PAYNOW menu.
• On the payment details menu, select payment type as AKSU SCHOOL FEES, level as 100 and payment policy as FULL PAYMENT. Click the LOAD button.
• Select the PAY option and click on BANK option.
• Click on the PRINT button and print your bank pre-payment analysis slip.
• Visit any of the banks listed on the bottom of the slip and request from the bank teller to make school fee payment using eTranzact.

Please note that ALL school fees payment must be completed on or before Tuesday, the 6th of December 2016. Also any student that was offered provisional admission into Akwa Ibom State University and is yet to pay his/her Acceptance fee is strongly advised to use this window of opportunity to make his/her Acceptance as well as School fee payment.
