- The west african examination council waec have released results for the 2016 may/june examination.

The governing council of the West African Examination Council has officially announced the. release of Waec 2016/2017 results.

The examination exercise took place from 16th March till 18th May 2016.

This waec results were released by 9:00am prompt on the August 5,2016.

This was announced officially by the chairman of the governing council of the board of trustees of the West African examination council, Professor Dr. A.B William..

The detailed description of the released result labelled the performance of Nigerians to be Fair
but still could not beat the expected target of 60 percent of results with credit in both mathematics and English language.

Detailed performance of Nigeria student are as follows:

Percentage Failure:29 percent
Percentage of result held:21 percent.
Percentage of candidate with credit in both Mathematics and English
language: 59 percent.

The waec results was released earlier to meet with the target period of admission processing into various tertiary institutions. Candidates are therefore advised to start uploading their result for validity for screening by tertiary institutions.
